THE RESOUNDING MESSAGE emanating from the observance of World Day for Safety at Work was the need for employers to take the matter of safety and health psychology seriously.
That was the consensus when Jaric (St Vincent) led the charge on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, with the convening of a seminar aimed at promoting Safe and Health Psychological working environments.
The seminar held at the conference room of the National Insurance Services was attended by representatives from the public sector, private entities, statutory bodies, and schools.
Speaking to a packed audience, Colin Huskinson of the St Vincent Brewery Limited, urged employers to adopt a set of undertakings geared towards improving and ensuring safety
at workplaces. Hence, he proposed that working conditions should be conducive to assist with the mental health of employees.
