Damien wanted to make his parents and his school proud

DAMIEN FRANKLYN of the Windsor Primary School placed 9th overal,l and 6th for boys, with a 100% for Social Studies,98 % for Science, 96% in Math and 89 % in English in the 2026 CPEA.

“I’m not really like a jump up and shout person, but I was really happy when I heard the results. I knew great things were ahead of me,” Damien told SEARCHLIGHT.

Damien was sure he was going to pass high even though “ I was aiming for the top ten”.

His mother, Satish Franklyn, while highlighting the challenges and sacrifices made during preparation for the exam, emphasised that during it all, Damien was humility personified and determined, adding that his dedication and focus allowed him to achieve his goal.
