SAN GIOVANNI IN MARIGNANO – New tools to support neighborhood trade and reduce the competitive imbalance with large online operators. Confesercenti presented the popular initiative bill “The beat of the City” to the municipal administration of San Giovanni in Marignano, which obtained the support of the municipality.
Among the central points are the ZESpro, Special Economic Zones of proximity in which to provide tax breaks for commercial activities. The proposal also includes bureaucratic simplifications, a fund for urban and commercial regeneration and measures aimed at rebalancing conditions between traditional shops and large online platforms.
The meeting also served to present the new president of Confesercenti San Giovanni in Marignano, Luca Miganiin the presence of the provincial president Fabrizio Vagnini and the union official Andrea Maioli.
The deputy mayor and councilor for productive activities Nicola Gabellini highlighted how a recent mapping has restored the image of a healthy local commercial fabric, with few empty shop windows and a good turnover of activities, while underlining the need to continue to support local commerce.
Confesercenti now aims to reach the 50 thousand signatures necessary to bring the popular initiative bill to Parliament for consideration. Subscriptions can be made online through the Confesercenti website or in the offices of the Municipality of San Giovanni in Marignano.
