“Prof. Sławomir Cenckiewicz is an outstanding expert in the field of defense and state security. The gentlemen know each other. I believe this will be a very good cooperation,” said Jarosław Kaczyński, leader of Law and Justice (PiS), in the program “Gość Dzisiaj” on TV Republika. In this way, the politician commented on Prof. Cenckiewicz joining the team of Przemysław Czarnek, PiS’s candidate for prime minister.
Prof. Cenckiewicz Joins Czarnek’s Team
The head of the National Security Bureau, Prof. Sławomir Cenckiewicz, submitted his resignation from the position of head of the Bureau to President Karol Nawrocki. The scholar is set to join the team of Prof. Przemysław Czarnek, PiS’s candidate for prime minister.
“To put it briefly, I can say that I am leaving because I am triumphant. But that is not the whole story. My triumph has, in a sense, proved fatal for Donald Tusk’s team. A great deal of information is reaching me about how strongly this team is reacting to the ruling of the Supreme Administrative Court. I know what is happening within the Military Counterintelligence Service. I have heard about what took place on April 15 and afterwards,”

Kaczyński: “It will be a very good cooperation”
Asked about Prof. Cenckiewicz’s decision in the program “Gość Dzisiaj” on TV Republika, Jarosław Kaczyński emphasized that Prof. Cenckiewicz is “an outstanding specialist in the field of defense and state security.”
“I believe he will serve as an advisor in this area. I know the professor, so I am aware that he has a broad understanding of social life and can assist in many other matters as well,”
he said.
He added that, in his opinion, cooperation between Przemysław Czarnek and Prof. Sławomir Cenckiewicz will be “very good.”
