Tension in the Green Party rose to a level this Monday after Amaya’s group strengthened its power in the community with the election of Espitia, who began his political career at the hands of the governor: made part of your UTL when Amaya was a representative to the Chamber and in 2015, after being elected governor of Boyacá, she was his general secretary and in 2018 she was appointed chief of staff.

But the Uribismo candidate has sympathizers in the ranks of the Green. This has been demonstrated, for example, by the representative Katherine Miranda and the senator ‘Jota Pe’ Hernandez, who has been asking for the split of the party due to the profound differences in positions.
Added to this split was the one that the representative began to request.
