Weather situation in the Kingdom of Cambodia for April 23 to 25, 2026.
The low pressure formed over the South China Sea continues to affect the northeast monsoon regime blowing over the Mekong River Basin, the Cambodian Sea and the Kingdom of Cambodia.
This situation will cause the weather from April 23 to 25, 2026:
1- Plains:
– Average minimum temperature of 24°C and average maximum temperature of 37°C. Winds from the east and southeast will have an average speed of 2 meters per second. Pursat and Kampong Chhnang provinces may experience rain with gusty winds and thunderstorms covering 10% of the area. Banteay Meanchey, Battambang, Kampong Thom, Siem Reap, Kampong Cham, Tboung Khmum, Svay Rieng, Prey Veng, Takeo, Kandal and Phnom Penh provinces will not experience any rain.
2- Plateaus:
– Average minimum temperature of 25°C and average maximum temperature of 36°C. Winds from the northeast and east with an average speed of 3 meters per second. Kampong Speu, Preah Vihear, Stung Treng and Ratanakiri provinces may experience rain with gusts and thunderstorms covering 10% of the area. Pailin, Oddar Meanchey, Kratie, Mondulkiri, Dangrek mountain range and Cardamom mountain range will not experience any rain.
3- Coastal areas:
– Average minimum temperature of 24°C and average maximum temperature of 36°C. Winds from the southwest and southeast with an average speed of 2 meters per second. Koh Kong and Sihanoukville provinces may experience rain with gusts and thunderstorms covering 15% of the area. Kampot, Kep and Bokor mountain range will not experience any rain.
– Sea waves with an average minimum height of 0.50 meters and an average maximum height of 1.00 meters.
