Princess Catherine of Wales didn’t let the protesters get out of the way when the British royal family was booed at the Trooping the Color festival in London this weekend.
The princess was sitting in a horse-drawn carriage with her children, Prince Georgi, Princess Karlotta and Prince Lodvík, when protesters from the Republic organization started booing as the carriage passed by.
In a video published of the incident, Katrína can be seen looking towards the protesters, but she kept calm and waved to the crowd.
The children also seemed to notice the booing, but did not react in particular. They held their posture just like their mother while the carriage moved on with the procession.
Protesters of the Republic have taken over the festival in recent years, but the organization is fighting for the abolition of the monarchy. This time they carried signs with the words “Not My King” and “Down with the Crown”, among other things.
