The results of inspections at enterprises and organizations in Shymkent were announced in the department of state labor inspection.
— During the first quarter of 2026, 137 violations were identified at 107 facilities. As a result of the inspections, 23 employers were brought to administrative responsibility, and 3.7 million tenge was collected from the budget. 6 industrial accidents were recorded, all victims were seriously injured. The materials were transferred to law enforcement agencies,” said deputy head of the department Serik Alimanov.
The department added that over the past year, 9 people died at Shymkent enterprises, and another 10 were seriously injured.
In terms of wage payments, the inspectorate managed to restore the rights of 1,680 workers, collecting 490.1 million tenge from 55 enterprises. At the same time, the issue of repaying debts at two enterprises declared bankrupt by court decision remains unresolved.
— Shymkent Kurylys LLP did not pay 33 employees 11.7 million tenge. At Feb Stroy LLP, the debt to two employees is 34.1 million tenge. Together with state revenue authorities, work is underway to recover these amounts, the department explained.
Previously it was reported about wage arrears in 30 million tenge in Almaty and 11.5 million tenge in East Kazakhstan region.
