Every year, the baccalaureate results are awaited as a moment of truth by thousands of Moroccan families. Behind the averages, there are revision nights, sacrifices, mobilized parents, committed teachers and students who see a new stage of their journey opening up. The 2026 session also delivered its share of remarkable successes.
According to data from the Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports, the best national average was obtained by Omar Eddahab, from the Regional Academy of Casablanca-Settat, with 19.76/20. Across the various academies in the Kingdom, several students have distinguished themselves with exceptional results, most of them exceeding the 19/20 mark.

In total, 262,442 candidates students obtained their baccalaureate this year, an increase of 5% compared to 2025. The national success rate stood at 64.8%. The 2026 session was also distinguished by the high number of mentions, with 161,657 candidates, educated and free combined, admitted with honors, or 57% of all those admitted.
Candidates with disabilities have also achieved notable performance, with a success rate of 81.7%, after having benefited from adapted adjustments to the examination and correction conditions.
These students have already made their families, their establishments and their regions proud. And the 2026 session is not yet closed: at the beginning of July, more than 163,000 candidates will take the catch-upwith a new chance to obtain their baccalaureate and to add their name to this year of success.
