In Andijan region, a person who demanded a large amount of money, promising to formalize the land area in the state reserve, was arrested by the law enforcement agencies. He was caught while receiving part of the agreed amount.
It was reported that in cooperation with the department’s Andijan regional office and other law enforcement agencies, the event was held.
According to the investigation materials before the investigation, the citizen Z.Yu. gained the trust of another citizen and introduced himself as an employee of the Statistics Department of Andijan region. He gave false information that the state reserve plot of land located in Yoldosh Okhunboboyev massif in Andijan district was registered in the name of his child through an auction.
After that, he demanded 160,000 US dollars for this service, promising to formalize the documents of this 40 sotikh land area in the future in the name of the buyer.
During the quick event, the suspect was caught with physical evidence while receiving the first part of the agreed amount of 80,000 US dollars.
A criminal case has been initiated by the law enforcement agencies in connection with this situation under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code. At the moment, investigative efforts aimed at determining all the circumstances of the case are underway.
