Arabian Gulf Oil Company (AGOC) announced last Friday (5 June) that it has achieved a significant technical success in the commissioning and restoration of the Z13-NC47 oil well located in the Al Bayda field.
The company announced that the well is currently flowing at a stable rate of approximately 1,553 barrels of crude oil per day, with a very small percentage of associated water of only 2%, which is an excellent indicator of the quality and purity of the oil flow from the reservoir.
AGOCO said this positive result is the culmination of a meticulous technical intervention plan that relied on an integrated subsurface workflow through the joint cooperation between AGOCO’s Production Engineering Department and SLB (Schlumberger) Integration, which reflects the efficiency of national cadres and their ability to innovate complex engineering solutions.
