The APSARA National Authority (ANA) has issued a warning to visitors regarding the potential impact of Tropical Storm Sinlaku over the coming days.
According to a notice dated April 10, 2026, from the Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology, Cambodia is expected to be affected by the fourth typhoon of the year, Sinlaku, from April 14 to April 25, with Siem Reap province also likely to experience effects.
Angkor Park may be impacted by the storm, bringing rain, thunderstorms, lightning, and strong winds. These conditions could lead to soil erosion, falling trees, and unexpected breakage of branches in certain areas.
The ANA urges the public, both national and international tourists, drivers, and tour operators to exercise extreme caution when traveling or visiting temples within the Angkor Archaeological Park.
It also advises visitors not to park vehicles or take shelter under trees to avoid risks that could result in injury, property damage, or loss of life.
