Amran Governorate witnessed mass festivals and celebratory events in the governorate center and its districts, in commemoration of the day of the mandate of Imam Ali, peace be upon him, “Eid al-Ghadeer al-Aghar,” under the slogan: Whoever I am his master, Ali is his master.
In the city of Amran, the capital of the governorate, the central squares witnessed crowds of people crowded together in a majestic scene, in which hearts were filled before the streets with chants of “At your service, Ali,” in an image that embodied the depth of faith and sentimental connection to this great occasion.
In the major event that the city witnessed, the people of the governorate consciously embodied the depth of their connection with Imam Ali, peace be upon him, as the crowds were led by the governor of the governorate, Dr. Faisal Jaman, and a number of leaders of the governorate, government institutions, public mobilization officials, and notables and dignitaries of the city.
The speeches delivered on the occasion emphasized the importance of commemorating this great anniversary of the day of the mandate of Imam Ali, peace be upon him, as it is a comprehensive station of faith that reflects the authentic Islamic identity and renews the pledge to follow his right path.
The districts of Thalaa, Raydah, Jabal Yazid, Ayal Surih, Bani Abd, Maswar, Al-Sawd, Al-Sawda, Bani Sarim, Kharf, Dhibin, Khamar, Houth, Harf Sufyan, Bakil Al-Sawad, Shahara, Al-Madan, Qaflat Adhar, Al-Asha, Habour Dhalima and Sawir also witnessed massive public activities, all of which expressed adherence to the principle of guardianship and renewed the pledge to follow the path of Imam Ali, peace be upon him, and affirmed that The Day of Ghadir represents a way of life and an extension of the Muhammadan message.
The events, which were attended by leaders from the state, local authority, public mobilization, sheikhs, notables, and notables of the governorate, general directors of executive offices, directorates of directorates, and military commanders, along with tens of thousands of people of the governorate, included songs, popular chants, songs, and poems that embodied the greatness of the occasion and the status of the Commander of the Faithful, Ali, peace be upon him, in the hearts of the Yemenis.
