The work of the Saudi pavilion participating in the Eurosatory 2026 exhibition begins in the Republic of France
The work of the Saudi pavilion participating in the international defense and security exhibition Eurosatori 2026 began today in the French capital, Paris, which is organized by the General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI) during the period from June 15 to 19, with the participation of 10 national entities from the government and private sectors, to showcase industrial and service capabilities in all areas of the sector. The exhibition includes a number of pioneers in the military and security industries from various parts of the world, providing a platform to strengthen relations, exchange experiences, and showcase national industrial and service capabilities in the military industries sector.
His Excellency the Governor of the General Authority for Military Industries, Engineer Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al-Ohali, opened the Saudi pavilion, in the presence of His Excellency the Governor of the General Authority for Defense Development, Dr. Faleh bin Abdullah Al-Sulaiman, His Excellency the Assistant Minister of Defense for Executive Affairs, Dr. Khalid bin Hussein Al-Bayari, and His Excellency the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Republic of France, Mr. Fahd bin Mayouf Al-Ruwaili, along with the CEOs of the participating national companies, and senior military officials, experts and specialists from various countries of the world. During their tour of the Saudi pavilion, attendees were exposed to the latest military industrial and service capabilities, and advanced technologies in the sector.
The Saudi pavilion seeks to highlight the qualitative development witnessed by the military industries in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and showcases the latest advanced defense systems and technologies, to explore the prospects for cooperation with major international companies. In addition to the General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI), 10 national entities from the government and private sectors participate, including the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources (MIM) and the General Authority for Defense Development (GADD), in addition to the Saudi Military Industries Company (SAMI), Emaan Industrial Company, and the Saudi Chemical Company Limited (SCCL). The Saudi Aircraft Configuration and Maintenance Company (GDC Middle East), the Life Shield Company, the World Defense Exhibition (WDS), the TAM Aerospace & Defense Company, and the Midana Company.
His Excellency the Governor of the General Authority for Military Industries confirmed that the Kingdom’s participation in the “Eurosatory 2026” exhibition comes within the framework of strengthening its leadership in the military industries sector, stimulating partnerships with major international companies specialized in military and security industries, and attracting qualitative investments that contribute to achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 to localize more than 50% of military spending by 2030, adding that the Saudi pavilion represents an important platform to showcase the great progress achieved in developing industrial and service capabilities in National companies.
Over the course of the exhibition, the Saudi pavilion will showcase the most prominent military industrial and service capabilities that reflect efforts to empower the sector in the Kingdom. The pavilion will also witness many bilateral meetings and meetings with international companies and delegations participating in the exhibition with the aim of exchanging experiences and transferring technologies. The pavilion will highlight the integrated efforts between government agencies, to provide an attractive investment environment for local and international investors. By empowering national companies operating in the sector, attracting quality investments, transferring and localizing technologies while exploring opportunities for cooperation and partnerships with international companies.
This participation confirms the growing role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the military industries sector, and the keenness of the General Authority for Military Industries to support and empower national companies, and enhance their competitiveness on the international arena, in a way that serves the goals of national security and sustainable economic development.
