This evening, a university professor succumbed to her wounds at the Emergency Department of the University Hospital Center in Sidi Bel Abbes, where she died some time after receiving stab wounds from a dagger at the hands of her husband, opposite the headquarters of the Faculty of Political Sciences of the Djilali Libes University in Sidi Bel Abbes.
According to what local sources indicated, “The victim, R.A., was stabbed several times in the thigh, causing severe bleeding before she was quickly transferred to the hospital,” while the police forces succeeded in arresting the perpetrator and recovering the crime tool, awaiting the results of the investigations initiated by the competent authorities.
It is noteworthy that the perpetrator and the victim come from a neighboring state, while the real reasons behind the crime are not yet known, despite local sources suggesting that family problems are the main cause of the tragedy that shook the university community in the state of Sidi Bel Abbes.
