Germany national team players revealed that they saw a poisonous snake known as the “Copperhead” near the team’s residence in the American city of Winston-Salem.
In the latest press conference held by the German national team captain, Joshua Kimmich said: “We saw a snake, and we were told that it was poisonous. If you get bitten, you should go to the hospital. I don’t think you will die, but it is definitely dangerous.”
The Bayern Munich player added, as reported by the German newspaper Bild: “I have a feeling that if you step on a snake like this, it might end badly. That’s why we try to stay away from animals here.”

Defender Joshua Kimmich (31 years old) starred in Germany’s victory over Curacao (7-1), where he scored two goals with two assists. Before being substituted in the 83rd minute.
This match was played in the American city of Houston last Sunday evening, for the first round of the group stage of the 2026 World Cup.
With this heavy victory, the German “Ghoul” team has revealed its fangs, erasing the failures of the 2018 and 2022 World Cups (exiting from the first round), and raising the challenge of embellishing the shirt with a fifth international star.
