Moulvi Mohajer Farahi, Minister of Broadcasting of the Ministry of Information and Culture, local officials of Jawzjan, journalists, media workers and youth participated in this seminar.
In the ceremony held, the Minister of Broadcasting of the Ministry of Information and Culture, Mohajer Farahi, said that the media has an important role in public awareness and information transmission, and journalists should convey it to the people with accuracy, responsibility and professional principles.
He added that the media should share the problems of the people with the officials in an impartial and honest manner along with the achievements, and the spokespersons of the agencies should share the information needed by the media with them on time.
In this program, the professional responsibilities of the media, increasing intellectual and religious capacity, truth, compliance with Islamic values in media affairs, the role of the youth and the cooperation between the media and officials were discussed.
Speakers also emphasized the need to continue training programs for journalists, solve media problems and use social networks well.
