An armed robbery took place at night in a multi-apartment building in Koper. Unknown perpetrators waited for a 65-year-old man between the basement and the garage and demanded money from him.
One of the perpetrators put a gun to the victim’s stomach, while the other took money from him. They then taped over the mouth and eyes of the 65-year-old, beat him and slightly injured him in the process.
Police were notified of the armed robbery just before 2 a.m. They inspected the scene of the crime, the incident took place in the hallway between the basement and the garage.
In addition to the money, the perpetrators also took the keys to two vehicles from the victim, the Koper Police Administration wrote in today’s press release.
The police continue to collect information.
