Belgian international player Thomas Meunier made an insulting statement against his Moroccan teammate Ayoub Bouadi.
Midfielder Bouadi had recently moved from the French club Lille to the English club Manchester City, for five seasons, and for an amount that seemed to be greater than its size, equivalent to 95 million euros.
The American newspaper “The Athletic” quoted the Belgian Thomas Monje, defender of the English club Sunderland (last picture included), commenting on this deal, where he said: “There is no longer any point in talking about money, because there is no longer any logic governing the transfer fees. You can buy a donkey for 200 million pounds sterling! And an excellent football player for 20 million pounds. It no longer makes sense at all.”
Thomas Meunier previously won third place with the Belgian national team in the 2018 World Cup, and at the club level, he won 12 titles and cups in the Belgian, French and German championships.
The shares of the English club Manchester City are owned by an investment company affiliated with the Emirati regime, which practices what resembles financial “steroids”, as the team is still threatened with harsh penalties, the final ruling of which is expected to be issued later.
115 charges were issued against City management, related to violating the rules of financial fair play. The investigation is being conducted by an independent committee affiliated with the English Premier League.
The sanctions may reach the point of expelling Manchester City from the Premier League and relegating it to the lower divisions of the English Championship.
The Emirati regime has recently rushed in an effort to maintain the furniture and polish its distorted image in the international football community, due to this case, which smelled of the stinking odors of corruption.
