According to Jam Jam Online, Xinhua news agency quoted the Ministry of Commerce of China as announcing that it has issued a legal restraining order to block US sanctions against 5 Chinese refining companies accused of buying Iranian oil.
China’s Ministry of Commerce considered the US sanctions to be a violation of “international law and the basic norms of international relations” and emphasized: “This prohibition order stipulates that the United States cannot recognize, implement, or comply with the sanctions imposed on the five Chinese companies.”
