According to the online economy report, quoted by ISNA, Ali Mohammad Sheikhi was a classmate of Habibullah Sadeghi, Hossein Khosrowjerdi and Kazem Chalipa at the Pesran Fine Arts Conservatory in the 50s, and after that, in the field of art, they formed the collective of visual artists of the revolution.
He completed his studies at the bachelor’s degree in painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts of Tehran University, and during his years of artistic activity, he received a second degree certificate in painting from the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Studies.

Teaching at Shahid Rajaei University, conservatories and art training centers, directorship of Shahada Museum and directorship of Ayatollah Qudousi Conservatory are among the activities of Sheikh. He holds educational workshops, holds solo exhibitions, participates in group exhibitions, participates in various art competitions and receives dozens of awards.
