According to Jam Jam Online, the 2026 World Men’s Beach Handball Championship will be hosted by Zagreb, Croatia from July 2 to 7. These matches were drawn today and Iran’s national beach handball team was grouped with Spain, Portugal and America in Group A.
Last week, Iran’s national beach handball team won the title of the Asian Beach Games in Sanya, China. In May last year, Iran’s coastal national team reached the finals of the Asian Championship and won the right to participate in the Asian Championship.
Iran was the runner-up in the Asian Championship. Iran and Oman are the two Asian teams that qualified for the World Championship.

Group B: Hungary, Denmark, Tunisia, Puerto Rico
Group C: Germany, Brazil, Argentina, Italy
