Weather conditions in the Kingdom of Cambodia for April 29 to May 1, 2026.
The low pressure formed over the South China Sea continues to affect the northeast monsoon regime blowing over the Mekong River Basin, the Cambodian Sea and the Kingdom of Cambodia.
This situation will cause the weather from April 29 to May 1, 2026:
1- Plains:
– Average minimum temperature of 24°C and average maximum temperature of 37°C. Winds from the east and southeast with an average speed of 2 m/s. The provinces of Banteay Meanchey, Battambang, Pursat, Siem Reap, Kampong Chhnang, Kampong Thom, Kampong Cham, Tboung Khmum, Svay Rieng, Prey Veng, Takeo, Kandal and Phnom Penh may experience rain with gusty winds and thunderstorms covering 10% of the area.
2- Plateaus:
– Average minimum temperature of 25°C and average maximum temperature of 36°C. Winds from the northeast and east with an average speed of 3 meters per second. Kampong Speu, Pailin, Stung Treng, Oddar Meanchey, Preah Vihear, Kratie, Ratanakiri, Mondulkiri, Dangrek Mountain Range and Cardamom Mountain Range may experience rain with gusts and thunderstorms covering 15% of the area.
3- Coastal areas:
– Average minimum temperature of 24°C and average maximum temperature of 37°C. Winds from the southwest and southeast with an average speed of 2 meters per second. Koh Kong, Sihanoukville, Kampot, Kep and Bokor Mountain Range may experience rain with gusts and thunderstorms covering 10% of the area.
– Sea waves with an average minimum height of 0.50 meters and an average maximum height of 1.00 meters.
