Island Koncepts Television (IKTV) is entering a new era. Once known primarily as a cable television provider, IKTV is now transforming into a full-scale digital streaming platform—bringing Vincentian content to audiences anytime, anywhere.
With the launch of its new website and mobile app, viewers can now browse and enjoy an expanding library of original TV shows, films, event coverage, live streams, and even watch LIVE TV—all in one place.
At the heart of this digital evolution is IKTV’s newest entertainment initiative, “Tales From 784.” This groundbreaking project is a curated collection of short films rooted in Vincentian culture, traditions, and folklore—designed to celebrate authentic Caribbean storytelling while creating real opportunities for local creatives.
Spearheaded by Javed DaSouza and the Alpha Studios team, “Tales From 784” goes beyond content creation. The initiative actively invests in the region’s creative talent by providing paid opportunities and a platform for emerging filmmakers, actors, and storytellers to be discovered.
The initiative will soft launch next month with two compelling original productions:

“Cocoa Tea” — a powerful, family-friendly film centered on themes of grief, exclusively sponsored by Vincentian Chocolate. The film stars Hannah Archibald, Tiwanda Roberts, and Cherry Llewellyn.

“TiT FOR TaT” — a comedy action production featuring Stanley Johnson, Keive Horne, and Dianna Cain.
Both films were written, directed, and edited by Javed DaSouza, with cinematography by Duane Lewis.
The momentum continues into October, aligning with St. Vincent and the Grenadines’ Independence celebrations, where IKTV will host an official launch of “Tales From 784.” This will include a nationwide tour—bringing local cinema directly to communities and schools across the country, ensuring that these stories reach the people they represent.
“This is more than just a digital upgrade or a film project,” IKTV shares. “It’s a movement. It’s about telling our stories, empowering our people, and redefining how Caribbean content is created, shared, and experienced.”
