Besfort Lamallari is dismissed, Ervin Demo is appointed as the head of the Ministry of Interior – Shqip.com

Prime Minister Edi Rama has dismissed the Minister of the Interior, Besfort Lamallari.

Sources from the government meeting indicate that Rama has proposed Ervin Demon, who until now has been the Minister of State for Local Government, to head this department.

Lamallari took office in March 2026, while previously he was the Minister of Justice.
