In Old Riga, an entertainment venue with an area of 300 square meters burned down this morning, LETA agency found out.
The State Fire and Rescue Service (VUGD) informed that at At 6.18 a call was received to Grēcinieku street, where a fire had broken out in the public spaces of the first floor of a six-story residential building.
The LETA agency knows that the fire broke out at Grēcinieku street 11A, and publicly available information shows that the night club “Sinners” and a bar with the same name are located at this address. It is not known which of the entertainment venues caught fire.
Before VUGD upon arrival, three people evacuated from the building, and rescuers evacuated four.

Firefighters continue to work at the scene, so traffic is still limited.
