The price of gasoline and diesel in Guatemala will have a slight reduction from June 30 to July 6, according to the reference price table shared by the Ministry of Energy and Mines (MEM).
The shared prices have applied the subsidy of Q8 per gallon of diesel and Q5 per gallon of premium and regular gasoline, since fuels have registered increases derived from the war conflict in the Middle East.
The MEM published the reference table in compliance with the provisions of Ministerial Agreement 189-2026, which establishes the price calculation mechanism.
Explains that the cost per gallon in the municipalities includes a reference range for the variation in prices to the final consumer.
For self-service and full service, establish a difference of Q1 per gallon between both services. For V-Power and higher gasoline, a difference of Q0.50 per gallon is established between both products.
According to the update, the reference prices in the terminal (Ex-Rack) were established at Q29.32 for a gallon of premium gasoline, Q28.32 for regular gasoline and Q24.52 for diesel.
Meanwhile, the reference prices for the final consumer at the service stations in Guatemala City are Q32.09 for a gallon of superior gasoline, Q31.09 for regular gasoline and Q27.29 for diesel.

Compared to the prices of the previous week, the gallon of premium gasoline fell by Q0.05; Regular gasoline also dropped Q0.05 per gallon, while diesel dropped Q0.01 per gallon in Guatemala City.
