Croatia isolated itself this Tuesday, June 23, in third place in Group L of the 2026 Football World Cup, by beating Panama 1-0, who ended up eliminated, in a match on the second round, played in Toronto, Canada.
After the 4-2 defeat against England, the Croatians, runners-up in 2018 and third in 2022, struggled to overcome the Panamanians, thanks to a solitary goal from substitute Ante Budimir, in the 54th minute, assisted by Josip Stanisic.
