The head of the public organization “Khoma” Shakhlo Akobirova considers the presence of “Asia-Plus” in the information space of Tajikistan important and historically significant. In an interview dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Asia-Plus media group, she noted that it was this publication that contributed to the formation of a space in the country for open discussions, where different opinions could be heard, and also became a kind of bridge between society and government institutions.
“Perhaps this is the only national media that raises issues at the international level, remains an operational source of news and is able to provide the audience with the necessary information in a timely manner,” Akobirova said.
She also noted that Asia-Plus should more actively develop areas such as analytical journalism and investigative journalism.
