BINTULU (June 28): Parent-Teacher Associations (PTA) plays a vital role in supporting children’s academic and co-curricular development, said Tanjong Batu assemblyman Johnny Pang.
He said close collaboration between school management, parents and the wider community is essential to ensuring every child has access to quality education and opportunities to thrive.
“PTA plays an important role in shaping students’ character by organising meaningful programmes and activities that contribute to their overall development,” he said when officiating at the 50th annual general meeting (AGM) of the SK Orang Kaya Mohammad PTA here yesterday.
He said the school, with its modern facilities, is well-positioned to provide a conducive and comfortable learning environment, further enhancing the quality of education of its students.
Pang also highlighted the school’s commitment to inclusive education through its preschool classes and the Integrated Special Education Programme (PPKI), ensuring that children of different learning needs receive quality educational opportunities.
He commended the PTA members for their dedication, commitment and unwavering support in strengthening education and helping to build a brighter future for the next generation.
