According to the information of the Ministry of Information and Culture, in this visit, the development of tourism cooperation between Afghanistan and Iran, providing facilities for tourists of both countries, facilitating the process of travel, pilgrimage, treatment and education, development of joint cultural programs and increasing the number of tourists were discussed.
Maulvi Qudratullah Jamal said that Afghanistan and Iran have friendly relations and it is necessary to provide more facilities in the areas of tourism, treatment, education and transportation for pilgrims. He also requested that Iran provide training and scientific seminars for the teachers of the Institute of Tourism and Hospitality.
Ambassador of Iran Alireza Bekdali also emphasized on the religious, cultural and civilizational commonalities between the two countries and said that his country is ready to develop the facilities of tourism and pilgrimage and share experiences.
At the end of the meeting, both sides stressed on the development of tourism and cultural cooperation, the preparation of a joint agreement and the strengthening of continuous coordination between the relevant agencies.
