Awsard Province, June 23, 2026 (SPS) – Today in Awsard Province, the work of the National Administration Symposium, which bears the name “Symposium of the Martyr Salek Saeed Al-Jilali,” began today, under the slogan: “Fifty Years of Sahrawi Administration in the Service of the Battle of Liberation and Construction,” in the presence of members of the National Secretariat, the government, and executives from various national institutions.
The two-day symposium began with a welcome speech by the state governor, member of the National Secretariat, Khaira Blahi, in which she welcomed the frameworks of the Sahrawi National Administration, stressing the state’s readiness to make the symposium a success, which forms the basis for bringing the administration closer to the citizen.
In his opening speech, the Minister of Personnel and Public Service, Salek Baba Hasna, stressed that the desert administration experience, which began fifty years ago with individual efforts and scarce capabilities, has today transformed into specialized institutions qualified with scientific competencies and modern means.
The Minister explained that the exceptional international and regional context that the national issue is going through imposes an honest assessment of the administrative process, with the aim of clearly and transparently defining the parameters to guarantee the rights and entitlements of individuals.
Over the course of two full days, the symposium will discuss the obstacles and problems that can hinder the work of the administrative process and search for ways to overcome all preoccupations in order to ensure the continuous accompaniment of the citizen.
This is in addition to searching for possibilities that would raise the level of the effective tool at the administrative and management levels and developing it in line with the requirements of the current stage. (Was)
