The candidate for deputy from AAK, Avni Arifi, has reacted regarding the involvement of citizens from Kosovo in the recent political developments in Albania, demanding that the institutional and political leaders of Kosovo call on citizens not to participate in demonstrations for or against the Government of Albania.
Through a post on Facebook, Arifi emphasized that political issues in Albania should remain in the hands of the citizens there and that no one from Kosovo has the right to be involved in protests or internal political developments in the Albanian state.
“The KLA flag in protests against the government in Albania is irritating and offensive. The use of the KLA flag in internal political protests in Albania is inappropriate, because it aims to politicize a symbol that belongs to a completely different cause.
No one needs a new division and no one has the right to stick their nose in an issue that belongs only to Albanians living in Albania”, wrote Arifi.
