Down since the signing last Wednesday of an agreement between Tehran And Washington to end the conflict, the barrel of West Texas Intermediate (WTI), for delivery in August, fell 4.25%, to $70.10 around 1:50 p.m. GMT (3:50 p.m. in Paris), after falling to $69.84.
That of North Sea Brentfor delivery the same month, had earlier plunged below 75 dollars, a level not reached since the start of the conflict.
