Boris Tadić, SDS leader and former president of Serbia, reacted to VJT announcements that interviews should be held with all persons who publicly claimed that a “sound cannon” was used against protest participants.
On the X social network, Tadic invited them to start with him.
“Threats about prosecuting citizens and students just because in some minutes of the plenum, among other things, it is written that Brussels would respond to the use of a sonic cannon is a classic Goebbelsian montage of the process! Well, Goebbelsoids, get away from me! I was one of the first to react to an attack on citizens that could have caused a stampede with hundreds of dead people. Admittedly, I did not claim that a sonic cannon was used, but from everything we saw and heard it seemed that something much more serious sonic was used I remind you that I am on this occasion officially addressed the United Nations“, Tadic wrote.
As he added, since the prosecutor blatantly threatens that “no one will get away”, I invite them to leave me.
“And I say that they can rig the process as much as they want, but they are the ones who in the end “will not get away” when the truth comes out. And that moment is close. And just before the Fifth of October, they desperately resorted to this kind of rigging the process. In one such process, I was threatened with a sentence of several decades in prison, and just like today, those who fought for justice were persecuted,” writes Tadić.
According to him, they are talking about the sound cannon in order to divert attention from the fact that it is less important which weapon or technique was used that night. The key, he says, is that a stampede was caused that could have had unforeseeable consequences.

“And the prosecutor who participates in this staged trial and threatens the students and citizens who experienced trauma that night will be arrested for that at some point. And in his words – he will not get away with it. Neither he, nor everyone who participates in this Goebbelsian evil,” concludes Tadić.
