MOSCOW, 17 June (BelTA) – A UAV attacked a bus carrying a children’s football team from the Belarusian city of Gomel in Bryansk Oblast, acting Governor of Russia’s Bryansk Oblast Yegor Kovalchuk said on his Telegram channel, BelTA has learned.
“The Armed Forces of Ukraine, using a fixed-wing UAV, attacked a bus carrying a children’s football team from Gomel who were traveling to Gelendzhik for vacation. As a result of the targeted strike, a woman accompanying the team was killed,” Yegor Kovalchuk said.
According to him, six people were wounded, including four children. All the injured were promptly taken to the hospital, where they received the necessary medical care. The remaining passengers will return home shortly.
The Russian Ministry of Healthcare reports that 7 people injured in the drone attack on the bus in Bryansk Oblast have been hospitalized, and one child is in serious condition.
