“Helping every person.” The first international medical conference was held in Dushanbe

On June 17, a landmark event took place at the Crowne Plaza Dushanbe hotel in the capital – the first international medical conference “Health Space”, organized by MEDSI Group of Companies JSC. The event brought together more than 300 guests, including leading specialists in the field of medicine from Tajikistan and Russia, the country’s medical community, representatives of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as the media.

This conference became a unique platform for familiarization with the capabilities of the MEDSI network of private clinics in Russia and the existing foreign multidisciplinary clinic MEDSI in Dushanbe.

    “Culture of patient care”

During the busy conference program, representatives of the MEDSI Group of Companies repeatedly noted in their speeches that one of the key principles of the clinic’s work is the availability of medical services and a focus on the needs of patients.

In this case, we are talking not only about the latest technologies and professionalism of MEDSI doctors, but also, among other things, about the rapid recovery of patients after operations and minimal pain during the treatment process. But the main advantage is that the treatment is provided according to international standards and is selected individually for each patient.

“MEDSI is 30 years of innovation, patient care and the pursuit of excellence in medicine. We brought to Tajikistan a whole philosophy of approach to health, based on personalization, diagnostic accuracy and the highest level of professionalism of our doctors.

The opening of the MEDSI clinic in Dushanbe is our contribution to the health and well-being of the residents of Tajikistan, an opportunity to provide them with world-class medical services. We don’t just open doors to a new country, we bring our expertise and a unique culture of patient care. We feel the sincere trust and support of our Tajik friends and partners, and are convinced that together we can make medicine even stronger and more accessible, helping every person maintain and strengthen the most important thing – health,” said Andrey Sokolov, President of the MEDSI Group of Companies, during his speech.

It should be noted that the project was implemented in partnership with the Koinoti Nav group of companies, one of the largest diversified holdings in Tajikistan. The general director of the company, Ilkhom Mirzo, expressed gratitude and pride in cooperation with the MEDSI Group of Companies, and also emphasized the importance of this conference.

    “

“We are proud that today Dushanbe is becoming a platform for such a significant international medical forum. Partnership with MEDSI Group of Companies opens a new chapter in the development of healthcare in Tajikistan, providing our citizens with access to the most modern technologies and treatment methods recognized at the international level. We are confident that joint efforts will lead to improving the quality of life of people and strengthening the health of the nation.”

General Director of the company Ilkhom Mirzo

During the conference, participants learned from the clinic’s specialists about the technological capabilities of MEDSI, examples of the most difficult cases with which its doctors worked, their experience and more. Each of them also spoke in their reports about the direction of their activities at MEDSI.

“We strive to ensure that our patients receive not only effective treatment, but also comprehensive support at all stages – from prevention to rehabilitation. Today’s conference is an opportunity to show how we work, what methods we use, and how we achieve high results. We are ready to share our experience and, together with Tajik colleagues, build a healthcare system focused on the patient and his needs,” noted in turn the medical director of the MEDSI Group of Companies, professor, doctor of medical sciences. Igor Semenyakin.

    Health check as a gift

As a pleasant bonus from the “Be Healthy with MEDSI” project, special areas for check-up examinations were organized for conference participants. There, guests had the opportunity to undergo free express diagnostics and receive individual consultations on healthy lifestyle issues.

In particular, guests could examine moles, determine skin type using a modern dermatoscope, check the condition of the scalp and hair using a trichoscope, undergo bioimpedance analysis and determine body composition.

And after the guests there was a buffet, where in an informal setting they could discuss current issues with MEDSI doctors.

Among other things, during the visit to Tajikistan, the clinic’s doctors provided consultations. During the days of the visit, more than 100 patients were admitted, complex cases were identified, the patients’ medical history was studied in detail, and further recommendations for examination and treatment were given.

What services are provided at the MEDSI clinic in Dushanbe?

Residents of Tajikistan can now get help from international experts. Because the clinic of the MEDSI group of companies operates in the capital.

The MEDSI group of companies is the largest federal network of private clinics, providing a full range of medical services from initial consultation to high-tech diagnostics, complex surgical interventions and rehabilitation. The group’s assets include 144 clinics, a home care service, its own laboratory, a network of pharmacies, and a telemedicine application SmartMed.

The Koinoti Nav group of companies has been implementing large-scale projects in the fields of pharmaceuticals, education, trade and more for more than 30 years.

And the medical direction of the holding is represented by the Tibby Nav company, which is engaged in the development of modern medical infrastructure and the introduction of international standards of medical care. It was on the basis of the Tibby Nav company that the project to open the first international medical center “MEDSI” in the republic was implemented.

The clinic operates in a full-cycle format and is designed to serve up to 600 patients per day (more than 216,000 people per year). The center unites 5 departments (therapeutic, pediatric, surgical, dental and diagnostic) and covers 35 areas of medicine.

Services are available not only for adults, but also for children.

The staff employs more than 50 highly qualified doctors, including MEDSI experts from Russia and Tajik specialists with international experience. To receive patients, there are 23 rooms, 2 operating rooms, a 24-hour surgical hospital and an intensive care unit.

It is important to note that the MEDSI clinic operates in such areas as allergology-immunology, endoscopy, coloproctology, traumatology-orthopedics, rheumatology, nephrology, efferent therapy and pediatric dentistry, which are in short supply in Tajikistan.

Another advantage of the clinic is its advanced technologies, which allow for highly accurate diagnostics and minimally invasive interventions. These are a digital dermatoscope (biophotonics), a GENORAY mammography system, a SonoScape HD-550 video endoscopic system, a Dixion ST-E600 ENT station and an AP-01 membrane plasmapheresis device.

What is also important in the realities of Tajikistan is that the clinic operates in the above-average segment, and you can pay for the services provided either in cash or by transfers.

“In our work we adhere to the principles of modern medicine. First of all, this is prevention and early detection of the disease, since it is much more effective to prevent the development of the disease than to deal with its complications.

The second important principle is patient-centeredness. We strive to build a partnership with the patient, involving him in the decision-making process and accompanying him at all stages of treatment. The basis of our work is the principles of evidence-based medicine, modern clinical recommendations and scientifically proven methods of diagnostic treatment,” noted in his speech Amirsher Muradov, Doctor of Medical Sciences, a doctor of the highest category, as well as the chief physician of MEDSI in Dushanbe.
