It shows public transport parked on Savanorių Avenue, broken trees and firefighters and police working on the spot. It seems that the effects of the wind are being removed – tree branches may have broken power lines.
This information was confirmed to the news portal “What’s happening in Kaunas” by the firefighters on duty of the Kaunas Fire Rescue Service. “The tree broke the contact networks of the trolley,” the rescuer assured briefly.
When asked if there were more reports of storm damage in the city, the firefighter was tight-lipped. “After the men left for Aleksotas and Panemune, there are several calls,” he commented briefly.
