Macedonian athlete Ognen Stefanovski set a new national record in the decathlon at the Balkan Championships in Volos, Greece.
Our competitor again improved his own national record in the decathlon, winning a total of 7207 points, which is a new best performance in his career.
With this result, Stefanovski won the high fourth place in strong Balkan competition.
In the women’s competition, Melissa Dimitrioski achieved a time of 12.01 seconds in the discipline of 100 meters.
This is one of the fastest results in the history of Macedonian women’s athletics and another confirmation of the excellent form of our national team.
In her Group 3 semi-final, Dimitrioski finished sixth, with Austria’s Magdalena Lindner (11.33 seconds) the winner.
