The United States Air Force identified the eight people who died after the crash of a military plane that occurred this week in California.
Military authorities released the names of the eight victims of the accident of a B-52 Stratofortress that crashed shortly after takeoff from Edwards Air Force Base, in California. Among the deceased are pilots, weapons systems officers and flight test engineers linked to the Air Force, Boeing and contracting companies.
The accident occurred on June 15 during a routine operation. The Air Force indicated that the names were released after completing the notification to next of kin, while investigations continue to determine the causes of the accident.
