GRADIŠKA – This year’s “Gradiška Spring 2026” ended with the awarding of the ninth literary competition, which received 400 works from several countries.
The best prose work
The best prose work “Mom, I miss you a lot”, in the primary school category, was written by Mihaela Zelenika.
The second prize went to Ivana Sredojević for the work “The bridge that captured my attention”, and the third to Tamara Borković for the work “Nature”.
Kosta Stamenković wrote the best poetry work “Upala si u reč mi mi u reč, mama” in the primary school category.

The second prize went to Jovan Antić for the song “Stihova žalem da…”, and the third to Lasta Sofija Jović for the song “Durđevdan”.
In the secondary school category, the first prize for poetry went to Lazar Tandarić (“Hilandar”), the second to Aleksandra Jović (“The Village”), and the third to Miloš Šukalo (“Little Belgrade”).
The first prize for prose, also in the category of high school students, was awarded to Dajana Borjanović (“Silence that Lasts”), the second to Nikola Vasiljević (“Keeper of the Extinguished Flame”) and the third to Milana Sladojević (“Traces of Lepa Radić’s Heroism”).
The authors are talented elementary and high school students

Dario Gvozden, president of the jury, said that the authors are talented elementary and high school students from the area of Gradiška, and other parts of Republika Srpska, as well as Serbia, Kosovo and Metohija, and North Macedonia.
“Based on their works, it can be said that this is one of the more successful literary contests,” said Gvozden. Apart from the awarded ones, the most successful works were printed in the collection “Prvi koraci 9”.
Miroslav Vuković, director of the Gradiška Cultural Center, the institution that organized the festival, emphasized the mass and international character of “Gradiška Spring”, as very important and recognizable. The guests of this literary event were musician Bane Leteća gitara and Žarko Šarić, writer for children.
