Now I see that the Prime Minister has spoken out about the events in the capital, from his statement it can be seen that he is disappointed that the intention to introduce compulsory administration in Podgorica from the state level failed, said the leader of Preokret and the president of the Assembly of the Capital Srđan Perić.
Yesterday, Spajić, after selecting Perić as the president of the capital’s parliament, said that “we can officially congratulate the coalition of DPS and Milan Knežević”.
“When it comes to European progress, precisely preventing such a scenario is a contribution to Montenegro’s European path,” said Perić.
Otherwise, Perić believes, we would have the capital, where almost a third of the country’s population lives, under forced administration.
“The prime minister often, trying to explain something, actually reveals his own motives. That is why it is more important for the citizens than his qualifications that the planned damage is prevented – both for the functionality of Podgorica and for the European path of Montenegro,” concludes Perić.
