Arnannguaq Christiansen is employed as principal at GUX Nuuk as of August 1st.
From 1 August sheep GUX Nuuk a new principal in the form of Arnannguaq Christiansen. This is stated by the Department for Education, Culture, Sports and Church in a press release.
The department says that Arnannguaq Christiansen comes from “her own ranks” at GUX, where in recent years she has, among other things, been responsible for the pedagogy candidates.

The department praises the new rector for, among other things, having a thorough knowledge of the linguistic and cultural challenges that young people encounter at upper secondary schools:

“With the appointment of Arnannguaq Christiansen, the Department knows that these many skills and strengths will ensure stability but also innovation for GUX in Nuuk in the coming years, and the Department is therefore looking forward to working with the new rector.”
