A new flight has been deployed from Billund to Nuuk on Thursday, as today’s flight could not be completed.
Today had to Jet Time flight from Billund turn around in Nuuk and fly towards Kangerlussuaq.
It happened because of too dense fog on the approach to Nuuk. This is what Air Greenland writes on its website.
– The plane therefore had to continue to Kangerlussuaq to refuel and has since returned to Billund with all passengers on board.
Although the weather cleared up in Nuuk, it was not possible to complete the flight on to Nuuk and back to Billund, within the rules for the crew’s duty hours.
– At the same time, the plane cannot stay in Nuuk overnight, as it is scheduled for another flight from Denmark tomorrow.
A new departure from Billund has been introduced on Thursday 18 June, arriving in Nuuk at 1pm. It will be with DAT.
Affected passengers will be sent an updated itinerary directly and can also follow changes in the Air Greenland app.
