“A number of citizens legitimately waited for several decades for a change of government in the capital. At one point, it happened. After that, in a period of only three years, the teams that assumed responsibility for managing our city, twice quarreled with themselves, to the detriment of both. Twice, the government actually fell,” said DPS MP Mihailo Anđušić in a post on the X network.
The way these sets justified that trust and took advantage of their chance is, according to him, almost unbelievable from this distance.
“Only when we look back, we can hardly remember the session of Olivera Injac, and after it all the other torments that befell us. Not to go in order, from failed projects, implementation of the budget, affairs, FK Budućnosti… Essentially, behind this whole tirade – incompetence, indolence and lack of vision, there is a dominant struggle over armchairs and interests, which always drags them into an ever-increasing disaster,” says Anđušić.
Also, from this distance, the DPS deputy assesses, it is enough to draw a parallel between Ivan Vuković’s mandate and all that we are witnessing today.
“Whether it was to someone’s liking or not, it is clear to everyone that at that time we were focusing on the opposite – expertise, dedication, serious work, vision and stability. This is something that, even now, I’m sure, every fellow citizen sees very well and regrets. However, everything is slowly taking its course. What would you say – upset, once again”, says Andjušić.
Step by step, we are returning to something that, as he said, is decent, serious, stable.
“Podgorica and Montenegro will soon witness changes that will restore their dignity, decency and seriousness,” Andjušić concluded.
