On June 11, at 19:03, the 112 operational control center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received alerts about strong winds, in particular, on Mar Street in Yerevan, Echmiadzin of Armavir marz, Charentsavan of Kotayk marz and Berd of Tavush marz, Gyumri city of Shirak marz and Hatsik settlement, Vahagnadzor and Saramej settlements of Lori marz.
As a result of the wind, roofs of buildings, roof coverings, structures, pavilions were damaged, trees fell, electric poles were bent, roads were closed.
The relevant units of the rescue service promptly responded to all incidents.
Dismemberment and removal of fallen trees, dismantling of torn roofs, demarcation of the area and other relevant works were carried out on the spot.
