On his social networks, Sheinbaum Pardo indicated that the conversation with Mottle was cordial and they discussed “the interest in strengthening our bilateral relationship and deepen cooperation in tourism.
“We agree on the importance of collaboration between Mexico and the Caribbean Community to promote the development of our people,” he wrote.
In the conversation, the head of the federal Executive was accompanied by Robert Velascohead of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo congratulated Mia Amor Mottley last February on her victory as prime minister in the Barbados elections.
On his social networks, Sheinbaum reaffirmed the commitment to strengthen friendship and collaboration with Barbados.
“Our congratulations to Mia Amor Mottley on her victory in the Barbados elections.
“We reaffirm our commitment to strengthen our friendship and collaboration, as well as work for the development and prosperity of Latin America and the Caribbean,” wrote the President.
That was the third time that Mia Amor Mottley has been elected as prime minister by the Labor Party.
