Their signature blend of downtempo, trip-hop and electronic sound has been shaping the soundtrack of numerous generations for three decades, while Skye Edwards’ voice has become synonymous with music that simultaneously soothes, moves and lingers long after the last note.
Led by vocalist Skye Edwards and multi-instrumentalist Ross Godfrey, Morcheeba’s career has sold millions of albums worldwide and created some of the best-loved songs in contemporary music, including ‘Rome Wasn’t Built in a Day’, ‘The Sea’, ‘Otherwise’ and ‘Blindfold’. Their sound, recognizable from the first bars, successfully combines electronics, soul, blues and pop into a unique musical entity.
