The trial of police officers Petar Lazović and Jugoslav Raičević accused of allegedly abusing members of the Skaljar cell of the Balkan drug cartel was postponed to June 19.
Judge Ilija Radulović of the Basic Court of Podgorica announced that the officers of the court’s Information Technology Service could not conduct evidence today.
He announced the implementation of all remaining evidence for Friday and called on the parties to prepare closing arguments.
Lazović and Raičević are responsible for the alleged torture of Jovan Mrvaljević, after he was detained in Nikšić at the end of December 2020.
Lazović is also on trial because, according to the indictment of prosecutor Biljana Pavličić, who was represented yesterday by prosecutor Damir Kujović, he also tortured Mrvaljević’s colleague from the clan, Milo Jovanović
