Supreme Court of Puerto Rico ruled against urban artist Ramón Luis Ayala Rodríguez, better known as Daddy Yankeein legal battle with Mireddys González, after ruling by the Court of First Instance and the Court of Appeals.
The decision was established in the lawsuit for the liquidation of marital assets under the divorce of his ex-wife.
During an interview on the program “Day by day”from Telemundo, with the journalist Sylvia Hernandezthe lawyer Pablo Lugo revealed that González requested five million dollars and a monthly payment on a provisional basis, with the net amount being 500 million dollars.
“I don’t even know why they took those cases to those extremes because it is clear that they were married through community property, 29 years old, and that there is a common mass there that both have the right and she has the right to financially replace what the lawsuit lacks in accordance with the social level that they had,” Lugo explained.
He pointed out that the singer appealed to the Court of Appeals after a previous decision by the Court of First Instance against him, finding a ruling against him in both, so he went to the Supreme Court, where he obtained the latest ruling.
“This decision is final and firm, he exhausted all the remedies that the law gives him to not give up a single peso to Mireddys, but now with this decision she already has the right to collect from what is hers,” he asserted.
Lugo explained that other legal lawsuits related to the same issue are still pending.
